Fawry has just announced the launch of SST ‘Smart Secured Tickets’ for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East through TicketsMall.

Tickets Mall, the e-ticketing Platform for concerts and entertainment events booking, a subsidiary of Fawry, the leading company in Banking services and E-payments, announced the launch of the SST tickets, for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East via ‘Tickets Mall’, the first platform of its kind in Egypt to facilitate booking concerts and entertainment events tickets for the audience.

‘Tickets Mall’ App, allows users in Egypt to book concert tickets as well as entertainment events via registration, then paying through a code the Apps send to the user, so they are able to make the payment in a limited time through any of Fawry payment channels.

The payment channels include Fawry POS’ located at more than 285,000 vendors and retailers in Fawry’s network, which is spread across the Egyptian governorates. Users can also pay through any of the180 FawryPlus branches and myFawry App.

Through Tickets Mall, and in cooperation with X Creativity, the leading company in event planning and organizing, Fawry succeeded in applying the SST tickets system, on audience admission in the latest event X-Creativity held in Cairo Festival City, becoming the first company to use the new SST tickets in Egypt, reflecting its long-held belief in the role of digital transformation in streamlining and simplifying the booking process for companies and individuals.

The number of audiences in the event reached over 25,000 people, the admission process for the event goers, through Tickets Mall App, was ultra fast, it only took a few seconds to admit each person.

Tickets Mall Platform launched the SST tickets, as an alternative to the traditional paper tickets, which proofs it against theft or loss. The SST tickets are available through a 180 FawryPlus branches.

Clients also can obtain the tickets through opening an account and registering themselves through ‘Tickets Mall’ App, and learning about the instructions of booking the new tickets.

The SST tickets, were designed to protect the audience against fraud and counterfeit tickets, it also helps organizers in limiting the spread of counterfeit tickets phenomenon.

User accounts registered in ‘Tickets Mall App,’ are fully secured and connected to the user’s phone number and cannot be logged into through any other device. In the cases of users losing their phones or changing them, clients can contact customer support to re-register, in order to preserve their rights and retrieve their pervious bookings.

The App allows users to send tickets via their phones to any other number registered on the
App, which allows users to purchase more than one tickets.

The App will soon offer the notification and messages service, in order to remind users with concerts and events dates, and notifying them  when booking for an upcoming concert opens, based on the user’s interests that they specify in the App at registration.
